Canteen - New Winter Items
Winter is coming and with the cold weather upon us new hot food items have been added to the canteen menu in Term 2.
Warm up with fried rice, potato bake or butter chicken. Fantastic Chicken flavoured Noodles will also return to the menu. These items will be in the Hot Food section, keep a look out, as they become available they will appear for ordering in QKR.
The Fried Rice includes peas, carrots and ham. If you like soy sauce with your fried rice remember to add this to your order. This meal is Gluten Free and $4.10 per serve. The Potato Bake features cream sauce, cheese and ham and is Gluten Free. $4.10 per serve. The Butter Chicken is creamy, tasty, and accompanied with rice. $4.10 per serve.
Sushi continues to be a popular item on the menu and will continue through winter with flavours including Tuna Mayo, Teriyaki Chicken, Vegan Roll, Crispy Chicken and Salmon Avocado. Soy sauce, ginger and wasabi are available to accompany your sushi, please ensure to include these when you order.
Sushi is available on Monday and Wednesdays and must be ordered by 9pm the night before.
You don’t need to wait until the night before to order though, you can order up to 2 weeks in advance via QKR for all canteen items. This takes the stress out of last minute lunch dilemmas. Ordering up to 2 weeks in advance means lunch is sorted and parents/carers can relax!
Volunteers Are Warmly Welcomed
If you have some time we would love to see you in the Canteen to volunteer for a 2-3 hour shift. No experience is necessary as Jenny provides direction of tasks to complete. Children love seeing their parents serving over the counter at recess and lunchtime and take great pride in this.
