First Reconciliation and First Eucharist

Students in Year 3 this year will be able to receive these Sacraments in Term 3.  The sacramental program is a Parish based program, meaning the Parish organises all aspects of the program.  Due to the impacts of Covid-19 restrictions, the school is assisting by providing instruction for the St Mary's children during Religious Education lessons at school.  All relevant paperwork needs to be returned to the Parish office - not the school office.

If you have a child in Year 3 (or Yrs 4, 5, or 6) who need to be prepared for and receive these sacraments, please note the following dates.

Wednesday 14th July - Parent Information Night 6pm at the Cathedral.  All parents are                                                     asked to attend this night.

Thursday 26th August - First Reconciliation available either at school at 9am or at the                                                         Cathedral at 6pm

Saturday 28th August 6pm Mass - option for First Eucharist Mass

Sunday 29th August 10am Mass - option for First Eucharist Mass

If you have a child NOT in Yr 3, but in Yrs 4, 5 or 6 who you would like to be prepared for these sacraments could you please let me know on smaadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au

Altar Server Request from the Parish

The Parish has asked us to put the following notice about Altar Servers in our newsletter:

If any children who have made their First Eucharist and are wanting to alter serve at Mass on the weekends could they please contact the parish office or Joanne Ward 0429 831 382. We hope to have training very soon.
