Emmanuel College

As we enter the final week of term, students are remaining engaged in their learning. For us, Semester Two learning commenced last week, so some students are engaging with new subjects already and others are moving on to exciting new units of work.

Last week more than 35 students and staff participated in the Annual Winter Sleep Out, this is a wonderful event for raising awareness and collecting woollen clothing (jumpers, beanies and scarves etc) for those who sleep rough. This year it was held virtually with the students and staff sleeping outside at their own homes and sharing the experience with each other via Zoom. Another example of the giving and compassionate nature of the young people in our community.

Our next College event is our Information Morning held on Saturday 7 August, details as below;

Notre Dame Campus - commencing at 9:00 am

St Paul’s Campus  - commencing at 10:30am

This a great opportunity to hear from College Leaders, students and parents as well as enjoying a tour and seeing all that the school has to offer. Registrations are essential and can be made under the tours and events tab on the right hand side of the homepage of the College website, here. Also, please note that applications are currently being accepted for Year 7, 2023. A Prospectus Pack containing an application form can be requested from the College website under the enrolment information tab, by emailing enrolments@ecmelb.catholic.edu.au, calling the College Registrar on 8325 5119 or coming into reception at either of our campuses. Please note that applications for this year level close on Friday 20 August 2020.
