Premier's Reading Challenge

Dear Parents and Carers,

The Premier's Reading Challenge is continuing during lockdown and I have put together a list of PRC books for K - Year 2 read by various authors, actors, TV personalities, politicians, etc. These short reads are perfect to break up your child's online learning; perhaps a story in the morning following their english work and another in the afternoon following their mathematics work. Just click on the links for your child to listen to the stories and allow yourself a few minutes of "ME" time.

Please also check your child's home library as the challenge allows for 5 Personal Choice Books to reach the 30 Books required to Complete the Challenge for K - Year 2 AND 20 Books required to Complete the Challenge for Year 3 - Year 6.

Don't forget to add the books to your child's Student Reading Record. You can do this by searching for the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge 2021 site. Click "logon" followed by entering your child's user ID and password (These were sent home earlier this year in March). To add to your child's challenge list go to "Student Reading Records", type the name of the book and click "add". NOTE: If a title begins with the word "THE", omit this word when searching for titles to add to your child's booklist.
