Foundation Alphabet Day 

This Tuesday the Foundation students and their teachers celebrated Alphabet Day! The children have now been introduced to all the letters of the alphabet and most importantly the sound that most frequently is associated with the letter. Certainly an occasion to mark as these students embark on their lifelong journey of reading and writing.

In preparation for Tuesday, everybody was given a letter of the alphabet and they had to dress up as something beginning with that letter. What flair the children showed in their outfits! We had a little parade for each other and our buddy grades and then got to spend a bit of time with our buddies and eat our snack together. 

A wonderful day was had by all. Thank you to the grown-ups who assisted with the costumes that helped make the day a success.
