Year 9 Visit to KIOSC

Our Year 9s spent a great day at KIOSC on Thursday 29 July, working on their ‘Trashbot’ projects. They learnt how to use technology (Adobe Illustrator) to design a ‘trashbot’ and about Artificial Intelligence training to teach their ‘Trashbot’ on what constitutes rubbish. Finally, they began construction of their ‘Trashbots’.

Our next session at KIOSC will involve the wiring and coding of the bins to accept rubbish. These are mini prototypes and a small scale look at some possible solutions for the real-life problem of litter and rubbish.
