Chaplain's Corner

Hi Everyone,

Turn off the alarm!  Hang out in your OODIE and UGG BOOTS! Find your “happy place”! Going away? – Stay safe and warm. Spend time with those you care about and who CARE ABOUT YOU!  Don’t hide behind SOCIAL MEDIA – take up the challenge to have a HOLIDAY from it for a few days, a week or, if you believe in yourself, for the whole holidays!  Instead arrange time WITH your family and friends, doing fun stuff together.  Don’t forget your pets – they will want all the love you can give them.

HOLIDAYS are a time to enjoy all that is good and to be thankful for – family, friends, animals and nature! Your physical and mental health will ‘THANK YOU’ for it.

I am looking forward to seeing you all refreshed and ready for what is hopefully an uninterrupted term of fun and learning!

Take care!

Robyn Mulholland (School Chaplain)

PS: Sorry to those who asked where Chaplain’s Corner was last week – On Tuesday last week MY VERY OLD COMPUTER ‘DIED’ before I could post my article which I spent part of curriculum day writing!  My article centred around resilience as many of you dealt with lock down and the aftermath of the storm – you were certainly in my thoughts!

I have temporary access to another computer today. But looking on the bright side all is not lost thanks to an internal hard drive and my soon to be BRAND NEW COMPUTER!
