5/6 Winter Sport Round Robin
It was fantastic to see our Year 5/6 students heading off to participate in their Winter Sport Round Robin day yesterday. It was especially exciting for our Year 6 students who missed their sports days last year. After missing one day due to Remote Learning, everyone was very excited to be finally competing in winter sport.
We had teams for AFL, T-Ball, Netball and Soccer and the weather was actually 'kind' to us. Students demonstrated skills they had been practising in Level Sport and it was pleasing to see everyone show good sportsmanship and encouragement to others.
We are waiting to see if any of the teams have made it through to the next round!

District/Division Cross Country
After being rescheduled several times, we are planning to hold a combined District/Division Cross Country on Thursday 15th July. This event will be held at Knox Athletics Track.
For each race, students from the Wantirna and Scoresby Districts competition and the Division qualifiers from Rowville and Bayswater Districts will all run together. The first 12 across the line in each race will earn a spot at the Eastern Metro Carnival (Thursday 22nd July at Yarra Valley Racecourse) as qualifiers from the Knox Division; this will be regardless of their district of origin. Students from Wantirna and Scoresby will also earn points towards their District Shield Competition.
It is a busy week at Scoresby PS and some students from 3/4E and 3/4S may have to choose between Cross Country and Swimming. The Life Education timetable fits around Cross Country and no student will miss their grade's Life Education session.
Please sign the new consent form on Compass if you haven’t already. The events on this day will run in the reverse order to what was originally planned, working from the oldest age groups to the youngest. We are still waiting on guidelines regarding spectators on the day and will let you know as soon as we receive any information.

- 12/13 Girls........12.20pm
- 11 Boys...............12.40pm
- 11 Girls...............1:00pm
- 9/10 Boys..........1.20pm
- 9/10 Girls..........1:40pm
