Meet our coaches - Sarah Lorca

The story of Sarah Lorca is a unique one, and she remains an integral part of the Keilor Downs College Soccer School. A former player and student, Sarah made her mark as a player even before we had conceived the program that now delivers football and life lessons to over 130 young boys and girls.

Into her 13th year of football, Sarah was just beginning to reach full fitness with her NPLW side Calder United when an unfortunate knee injury has forced her into a second bout of surgery in 18 months. Fortunately for Sarah, she has a strong level of grit and determination which has served her well on and off the field and she will continue to find ways to improve herself as she rehabilitates her knee.

Sarah also has the proud honour of having our most prestigious award for outstanding contribution and performance for the Keilor Downs College Soccer School named after her - The Sarah Lorca Medal. So far, two other students have received this award which is presented annually to one deserving student each year.

We hope that you enjoy learning a bit more about Sarah and keep reading future editions to learn a bit more about our coaching staff.
