Parent Support Group

Parents and carers of students with additional needs at Carlton North Primary School (CNPS) are warmly invited to join the CNPS Support Group for Parents and Carers of Students with Additional Needs.

Purpose

The purpose of the CNPS Support Group for Parents and Carers of Students with Additional Needs is to:

• provide a safe, friendly and inclusive space for parents and carers of students with additional needs to meet confidentially to discuss common issues or concerns and offer mutual support
• provide a forum for regular dialogue between parents and carers of students with additional needs and the school
• allow parents and carers to provide input to the school on how best to continue to active foster a culture of inclusion, understanding and positivity for all students.

This group does not replace the existing school structures in place for supporting individual students with additional needs and the formal avenues for resolving concerns. Class Teachers and Leadership should remain the first point of contact for any school related matters.
