It is important that all staff, as mandatory notifiers, understand their legal requirements to report suspected abuse/neglect. Staff from the Cooper Pedy office of the Department for Child Protection are available to take a phone call at anytime to answer your questions regarding child safety.
To report a suspected case of child abuse or neglect call the child abuse report line (CARL): 13 14 78.
The report line is available 24 hours a day.
All serious concerns must be reported via the report line and not via the online reporting system. Serious concerns include when you suspect a child or infant is in imminent or immediate danger of:

After completing this 30 minute professional learning session you will have the knowledge you need to participate effectively in performance and development. The module is designed to support individuals to draft their own performance and development plan in preparation for a meeting with their line manager where they will work together to finalise the plan for implementation over the following year.

Learning objectives:
The attached Mobile Phone Policy has been endorsed by the schools' Governing Council. Essentially, this means that any students with a mobile phone are required to hand the phone into the front office at the start of each day, where it will be stored in the school safe. The phone can then be collected at the end of the school day.
