Art 

Grade Six students have been busy finishing off their ‘Manga’ style self-portraits, whilst Grade Five’s have been exploring one point and two-point perspective drawing. Completing oil pastel pictures and constructing gold frames for them, have kept the Grade Fours occupied. 

HPE  

Over the past four weeks Grade 4-6 students have been participating in the Ocean Awareness water safety program. They have spent their time between the river and surf beach gaining confidence in and around the water. The students were lucky to experience some amazing weather during their time. Thank you to Bec at Surf sessions for putting together a fantastic program.  

INDONESIAN 

A mid-term revision game of ‘Mario’ proved extremely popular amongst the students last week. It was great to see the enthusiasm and teamwork displayed by all students. Their answers were impressive! This week, students learnt movements to a traditional Indonesian dance. It was great to see students having a go at some of the more difficult movements.  

STEM 

During STEM sessions Prep to Two students have been learning about the engineering process and undertaken some different building challenges! The Grade Three and Four’s have been learning about frogs including, their different body parts and all about their habitat!
