Arbury Park Fisher Camp

Student Reflections

Awesome Arbury Park camp! Food was great, enjoyed the activities, loved eating toasted marshmallows listening to Trent Hill was fun. Didn’t want to go back home!

Orienteering was very challenging and fun while also helping me figure out where places were around the camp.

My favourite activity was aboriginal face panting because I enjoyed making pictures on my partner’s face.

Making nest boxes was fun because we got to use drills and that was my favourite.

Aboriginal studies was very interesting. I learnt how they balanced baskets on their heads.

I liked the Web of Life game. It was SUPER because we got to run away from predators!

I really enjoyed choosing our activities because I loved reading the map and exploring the camp.

I liked the camp fire because we got to eat marshmallows.

I liked the birds because Pinky can dance and I got to pat Claude.

It was fun when we played the Web of Life game and when we went up the hill and we were hiking in the magic forest.

On camp I mainly enjoyed making bird nesting boxes because we got to use maths which I love and we are saving birds.

I think it was the best because I got to do earth art and the food was yummy!

I liked fishing for tadpoles because it was fun and we got to look at them.

I liked the nest boxes. We got to use tools that some of us have never used before and my team was the first one to finish.

The best thing about camp was catching bugs from the pond.
