Parks Day

In conjunction with Wellington Council, Maffra Secondary College students will be celebrating Parks Week in a community event organised by our Year 7, 8 and 9 student leaders.

All Year 7 and 8 students will have the opportunity to attend the event on Tuesday 7th March from 11:30am to 2:30pm.

A number of community organisations will be attending, including GippSport, Wellington Youth Council and the East Gippsland Youth Project. 

Parks Day is part of Wellington Council’s Parks Week, which is run every year in March. Its purpose is to activate the Parks and Reserves within the Wellington Shire Council.
