Welcome back folks!!! With a very special, warm welcome to all our new families - we look forward to meeting you all at one of our many cool events planned this year. Talking of which…….
Family Fun Night - Kicking off the year with our Family Fun Night on Friday February 24th from 4.30pm-7.30pm. It’s going to be a fun packed event and not to be missed so make sure it is in your diary. There will be activities for the kids, including inflatables and face painting. Team Kids are joining in the fun with Arts and Crafts and some giant outdoor games.
BYO picnic food, or enjoy a sausage from the bbq or head into Grounds cafe for a yummy pie, bowl of paella and some hot and cold drinks - including milkshakes and iced tea. For the adults we are running a licenced bar in the Community Hub (strictly no BYO alcohol please). Lots more info and details will follow in the coming days via Compass and your Class Reps.
Class Reps
We are so grateful to everyone who volunteered to be a class rep this year. We have already shared the list with you. Where there was more than one volunteer per class (and there were many) we simply pulled the first name from the hat. We rely heavily on our networks at school and so please keep an eye on your WhatsApp group notifications.
Events for 2023
We’d like to share some key dates and events planned for 2023 and as always we have fundraising on our minds. We have already set aside last year’s amazing fundraising total for the playground project, but we always need more. We want our facilities and learning environments to match the great academic achievements made in the last three years..

Term One
- Friday 24th Feb - Family Fun Night
- Thursday 2 and Friday 3 March - Book Drive collection - please start collecting your good conditioned books to contribute to the classroom libraries.
- Easter Raffle and Guess the Egg competition
- Thursday 6 April - end of term Fun Lunch
Term Two
- Friday 5th May - Mother’s Day Lunch
- Thursday 11th May - Mother’s Day Stall for students to choose their gifts
- Thursday 1 June - All school LAPATHON
- Friday 23 June - end of term Fun Lunch
Term Three
- August - Dad’s Community Cup Football Game (tbc)
- Thursday 31 Augusts - Father’s Day Stall - students choose their gifts
- Friday 1 September - Father’s Day Breakfast
Term Four
- Christmas/End of Year Event - tbc - carols, dancing, market
- Tuesday 19th Dec - end of term Fun Lunch
