Physical Education Update

Congratulations to the following students who have been successful in their selection to the Sydney trials:

Lilly N (6) Netball and Jade L (6) Football. We wish them the best of luck. 

Congratulations to Max I (6) who has been selected in the MacKillop Team for Touch football. Max travelled for the trial last week and once again represented St Aidan’s with pride and respect. 

We wish the students attending the Conference 1 Zone B Swimming Carnival on Tuesday 28th of February the best of luck. We know all these students will show great sportsmanship and encouragement towards their peers. 

Next Friday 3rd March St Aidan's is having a trial to select children for the Sydney Catholic Schools Cross Country trial on the 25th of May. The trials are for Years 3-6 and age appropriate Year 2 children (age appropriate Year 2 children are those who turn 8 between January 1 and December 31, 2023). 

Please fill out the googkle form on Compass if you wish your child to attend the trial next Friday. Pleas enter your Child's name, year group and date of birth. If you have multiple children please fill this form out for each child.

Students aged 8-10 will need to be able to run 2km without stopping.

Students aged 11-13 will need to be able to run 3km without stopping.

Students who can not make the distance or need to walk will NOT qualify.

Students 8-10 will need to be dropped at Latham Park by 8:15am. These students will then be walked back to school at the conclusion of their race. Students aged 11-13 will come to school as normal and be walked down by teachers to Latham Park. At the conclusion of their race these students will be walked back to school.
