Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	To understand what the author is saying.
Writing	To create interesting narrative texts with a clear message.
Maths	To make and write fractions. To understand equivalent fractions.
Inquiry (Health)	To understand how to say no in difficult situations.
Social & Emotional Learning	To develop our understanding of growth mindset

News and Reminders:

On Tuesday the 21st of February students enjoyed a safety incursion ran by the City of Casey where we learnt about ways to remain safe when riding or walking home from school, including how and where to cross the road safely. Students also got to role play being a crossing supervisor.

Friday March 3rd was Schools Clean Up Australia Day - We enjoyed getting out and cleaning up in our school yard. Students across the whole school collected so much rubbish that there was not a single piece of plastic left. Well done team!

Reading is expected every night, and to be recorded by the students in their student diaries. Parents/ Guardians are asked to sign at the end of each week.
Diaries are to be brought into school each day.
Hats are to be worn during all of Term 1.
