At this time of uncertainty, we are all no doubt experiencing moments of fear, anxiety, sadness coupled with episodes of happiness or love as we spend time with our family, loved ones and animals. I thank the staff, families and children of GEKA who have remained positive, calm and supportive in the face of the challenges we have come up against. I am confident that we can remain united and focused on the best possible outcomes for our community.

As we break early for term one, I encourage the GEKA staff to enjoy a well deserved rest and recovery as they have worked tirelessly to support families and children during this anxious time. I urge families to keep your children active, connected, reading, writing, thinking, creating and playing. I hope that you all remain healthy and strong.
