Grades Placements for 2020

Within the next month or so staff will begin the process of allocating our students to their grades for 2020. This is an extremely complex process where staff use their knowledge of the students to ensure the placements are successful for all concerned. If parents have requests regarding the placement of their children (social and emotional considerations) could they please put these in writing and forward them to Robyn James by 4.00pm Friday the 8th November, emails to james.robyn.e@edumail.vic.gov.au are preferred. Verbal requests will not be considered.

Parents are advised that not all requests can necessarily be met, however where possible we will take the requests into account.

Parents are asked not to request a certain teacher for their child as the decision of staff placement is a separate and equally complex process and final decisions on staff placement for next year have not yet been made.

Any request made after the 9th November may not be able to be considered.

Melbourne Cup Day

Tuesday 5th November is a public holiday for Melbourne Cup Day and therefore the school will be closed. Monday 4th November is a normal school day; we will be operating as usual.

Toiletries Donations

Thank you to everyone who have donated toiletry items for our collection.  So far we have been able to complete 17 shoe boxes for disadvantaged women.  We are still collecting, just drop any items off at the school office.  We would love some small fabric lavender bags to pop into the boxes if anyone is able to make any.
