5/6 Sports

Our 5/6 students have been participating in various sports to encourage sportsmanship, fair play and for students to show resilience.  

The sports they have participated in are Dodgeball, Spikeball, 5 bat cricket, Volleyball, England V Wales and Rounders.  

Congratulations to our marvellous Gr 5/6 students for showing their leadership skills and also having fun.

 

 

Preps - Our Farms to Our Homes

Our Preps learning topic this week has been Our Farms to Our Homes. The students have learnt about where milk comes from and the foods we but which are made from milk. The students met Noodle the calf and learnt how to milk a cow. They also had a go at making butter and explored a variety of dairy products.

 

Preps - Where Wool Comes From

Last week our Preps learnt where wool comes from. They met some sheep, explored wool that was sheered from the sheep, made pom-poms, created their own sheep and learnt how wool is spun from sheep to yarn.

 

New - Cleaners Tender

Our long term cleaners Greg and Rhonda are finishing up at the end of the year and we are currently advertising for replacements.
