It has been wonderful to see all students engaging in our daily Reader's and Writer's workshops at school once again!

Our Year 1 students have been focusing on the Lighthouse Keeper series of picture storybooks over term four. This week, students in 1E responded to The Lighthouse Keeper's Picnic by creating an invitation to their own picnic celebration. They also used their imagination and creativity to design picnic baskets. Using quality mentor texts supports students in connecting valuable reading and writing skills to become more literate thinkers.

Lamont Book Fair
