STEAM Update

Hi Hillsmeade, 

Year 3 has been learning about 3D shapes. Look what our little friends shared with us.

Sam 3E: This week we made 3D shapes out of the rolled up paper tubes and sticky tape. I thought the activity was terrific and lots of fun for all students. I liked creating my shape and designing how it would look. The shape I made was a diamond. It had 9 edges, 6 faces and 5 vertices.

Jaydah 3E: A pyramid has 5 corners/vertices, 5 faces and 8 edges. We had to make a 3D shape using a pencil, paper and tape. I made a pyramid. I enjoyed this activity and I made another one at home too.

3C is working together to create some amazing 3D shapes using paper and sticky tape too. Fantastic effort everyone!

Miss Bodie said, Kiara was a champion! She shared a beautiful presentation on Diwali and she is proud of her! This is how 2B had their Diwali celebrations! Great job everyone!
