Lachlan Kelaart
Over the past few weeks the efforts of Huntingtower Media students have been recognised in numerous film competitions.
Year 10 Student Lachlan K was awarded first place in the Moblie Muster Film Competition and was featured as part of Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week which was earlier this month. Lachlan created this film in the short lockdown at the end of Term 2, as part of an optional extension task in Year 10 Media. Lachlan is congratulated not only for his success, but also the initiative he showed in creating this film.

Silent Film Festival
This past weekend, more student films will be featured as part of the Victorian Regional Finals of the Youth International Silent Film Festival. ‘A Moment in Time’ created by Spring L and Jasmine N and ‘Operation Roller Toaster’ created by Angus C, Dennis H and George P have both been selected as one of ten films in the regional finals. These films were created last year as a part of the Year 11 Media curriculum.
