On Wednesday this week, we had an On-Site Evacuation Practice. This is part of our Emergency Procedures to prepare students and staff in case of an emergency situation and to make sure our processes are effective. 'Waltzing Matilda' music plays as the signal to leave the classrooms and move to the assembly point. Students and staff assembled on the basketball court where we check that everyone is accounted for. Our practice was completed quickly and efficiently by everyone.
Student Support Group Meetings will take place next week. This is an opportunity for you to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress towards their semester 1 goals.
We look forward to seeing you as you come in for these meetings and hope that this is a valuable and informative process for you. If you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to request a phone call or Webex meeting.
Thank you to everyone for driving slowly as you enter and exit our car park at the start and end of the day. A reminder not to back out of the entry gate but to drive through the gravel car park to the exit gate. Safety of our students, families and staff is important to us!
