Division Cross Country

On Wednesday 31st of May, 13 students represented St. Martin de Porres in the Division Cross Country Carnival at Presidents Park Wyndham Vale. 

We had ideal conditions and the runners were eager. Starting at 9:30am, the 9/10 year old girls went first followed by the boys. They ran their 2km race really well and should be extremely proud. 

Next we had the 11 year old girls and boys. These races are 3km and the competition was fierce. Marley finished 11th in her race and qualified for the regional event. 

The final events were the 12/13 year old race and once again it was over 3km, it was run at a fast pace, all of our students did a fantastic job and ran with confidence. 

Congratulations to everyone for participating: Aoife, Araina, Freya, Tanish, Ashton, Utkhash, Marley, Kara, Jay, Marcus, Noah, Ella and Eilidh.
