General Information

Enrolments Kindergarten 2023

We are now accepting enrolment applications for Kindergarten 2023.  If you have a child who will be ready for Kindergarten next year please contact the office for an enrolment application or download the Enrolment Application below. Interviews will be conducted early Term 2.

School Hours - Supervision & Attendance

A reminder that school commences at 8:45am and ends at 2:50pm.  Supervision in the morning is from 8:15am please do not arrive before this time.  

The gate is locked for security reasons at 8:45am.  

If your child arrives to school after 8:45am a parent or guardian will need to sign the student in at the front office.  Students can be dropped off in the mornings at the Denison Street entrance or the Crown Street church gate entrance.  Only the Crown Street church gate is to be used for afternoon pick ups please. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home.

P&F

The first P&F for the year will be held on Tuesday 22 March commencing at 5:30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Lost Property

Please label all your child's clothing (preferably with a laundry marker). We also ask that parents check their children's clothes especially their sport shorts, hats and jumpers to make sure you have the correct belongings.

COVID Update

From this week staff and students will not need to test for Covid bi-weekly unless they are showing Covid symptoms. Masks will continue to be worn this week until Friday 4 March. 

We do ask that you continue to monitor your child and  keep your child at home if they are unwell. We thank you for your ongoing assistance.

Birthday Celebrations

Just a reminder if your child is celebrating a birthday it is preferable that parents send in individual cupcakes rather than a whole cake (1 per class member). We also ask that if you are planning a party and would like to send invitations but are not inviting the whole class that they be given to the teacher who will hand them out discretely to those invited. It is very upsetting to those who are left out.

Canteen

Canteen is available on Thursdays and Fridays. All orders must be placed on Qkr prior to 9am on the day of the required order. When ordering please check that the date of your required order is correct. We understand from our suppliers that some food items may not be available and if this affects your child's order we will do our best to ensure that your child receives something to their liking.

In order for our canteen to run we do require parent helpers to assist Mrs Lobban. If you are available to assist on either a Thursday or Friday from 10:30am until 1:30pm please contact the office. Unfortunately we cannot have any toddlers or pre-schoolers in the Canteen.

QKR

To help with the correct distribution of lunches to each classroom please remember to update your child's profile on Qkr. For example if your child is now in Year 2 you will need to go to their profile page on Qkr and move them from Year 1 to Year 2.

Clothing Pool Opening Hours

The clothing pool is open Monday to Thursdays 8:30am - 1:30pm.  All new items eg school bag, hat, tie and socks must be purchased on Qkr. All new items once paid will be sent home with your child.

Before & After School Care

If you need the services of After School Care please contact William Wong direct info@esteemkidsgroup.com.au or on his mobile 0410 841 628.  If  your child has a change of plans and will not be attending after school on a particular day please let William know.

School Photos 2022

This year our school photos will be taken on TUESDAY 29th MARCH. Students will need to wear their summer uniform, that is, dress for girls and grey shorts and short sleeve shirt for boys, all with black shoes and short navy socks. Long hair past the shoulders must be tied back. You will have received an email through Compass from MSP Photography on how to order this year's photos.

Dental Visit 2022

Australian Dental Health NSW will also be visiting again this year. They will be on site the week of 20 June. Consent forms will be sent home over the next few weeks and must be returned to school prior to the 28 March. This is a free service offered by Australian Dental Health NSW and is not compulsory.
