Swimming Sports

The House Swimming is our first hotly contested all school sports event that sees our very talented swimmers hit the water to compete for their respective houses. The weather in the morning was a little cool, however this didn’t perturb the House Captains from persuading their teams with much gusto and cheering from the start. The tunes were pumping and the atmosphere was electric. The party atmosphere continued throughout the day and it was wonderful to see so many students stepping up and filling the gaps in races where needed. A huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered throughout the day and assisted in making the day run smoothly. Thank you to the staff for the mammoth effort they do during the day to ensure that this sports day is full of enthusiasm, happiness and laughter.

The swimming was so close at the end of the individual races that it came down to the relays and participation events.

Saturday Morning Netball

Saturday Morning Netball starts next week and a meeting was held today for an expression of interest from your child. Due to the very short timeframe to organise and enter teams, I have tentatively put in our teams, however we rely on parents and friends to coach, umpire, and be team managers. I have asked your child to discuss with you, if you are able to coach, umpire, or be a team manager as without your support these sports cannot run. All coaches, umpires and team managers must have a current Working with Children Check. Team manager representative’s role is to score and be the person to contact for late forfeits, etc.
