Welcome to the Library 2022

Year 7s sign up for our Reading Challenge

It has been a great start to the year in the BSC Brennan Library. Thanks to the generous donations of parents to the library fund, we continue to be able to update and improve the library space. This year we have a beautiful, new circulation desk. 

Chess club has started again, with past members enthusiastically turning up last Wednesday and some new Year 7 chess players. We want to extend a big welcome to the chess players among our new Year 7 cohort. If you are interested in joining, check your email. Our chess captain, David Hollins, has created a Google sign up form. 

We are beginning this year with a Reading Challenge for the Year 7s. Students have the choice of three challenges to choose from: 

1. Read 6 novels during Term 1 
2. Read 4 novels from 4 different genres during Term 1 
3. Read 600, 000 words over the course of Term 1 

Students who meet this challenge will be rewarded with a pizza lunch with our Principal, Mr Minack and points towards the class challenge.
