Homework

Most weeks Year 3/4  homework will consist of 4 components:

Spelling – A minimum of  3 spelling activities must be completed every week.

Mathematics - Activities will be related to units of work being studied. The children will complete activities, reinforcing the particular mathematical skills, as well as the language used for those skills.

Reading – All children are required to read 5 nights a  week for at least 15 - 20  minutes 

This must be recorded in their diary with the book title and the page numbers read example 

‘13 Story Treehouse pgs 1-25. ‘

‘As above : pgs 26-50’

 Children are required to bring their diary to school every day to be checked and signed. 

MFacts – this is an online Times Tables program. As soon as this is setup for 2022 the children will be given their username and password. They are required to watch the introductory videos and complete the practice activities for each colour in sequence. Please note the ASSESSMENT activities must be completed at SCHOOL.

At different times throughout the year, the children will be given a project to complete over a 2-3 week period. At this time, there will be changes to the homework format.
