Book Week

Book Celebration Day is to celebrate Children’s literature and the important role books play in children’s lives.  Children and staff dress up as their favourite book characters and participate in activities based on books for the day. When organising your costume please think about the weather and wear appropriate clothing, or bring something more comfortable to change into after the parade.

We will also be having a book fair that week.  This is where the Book Club comes to Mt Beauty and you can browse and purchase books at the school shop. The Book Fair is the fundraiser for the library to help to purchase new books for the students.
