What is the Newsletter Club?

The Newsletter Club is a team of students that are eager to inform parents, and teachers of upcoming events, important information, and a variety of exciting news.

To look a little bit closer into what goes into making this group run, we interviewed two of the club’s members and asked them some questions. This is what we found: 

Members: Peace, Soraya, Jessie, Dimitar, Ramy, Leeroy, Karim, Emme, Caitlyn, AJ, Eishal, Callum, and Karan Raj.

What is the main reason that this group is a part of the young leaders program?

This group is to keep students and parents informed about an upcoming event in Albanvale Primary School or to keep track of our school community.

What do you do each week on Wednesday afternoon?

We write news in the school newspaper to inform students and parents about upcoming events and school clubs.

Why do you think this group is important for students at Albanvale Primary School?

We think this group is important because students can help make the school a better place, students can use their voice to share our opinions, allowing the staff to count on us to support the school environment. We are also able to share lots of interesting and important news to our school community. 

What is your favourite part of being in this group?

How we get to share our voice and thoughts to the community.
