Year 8 & 7B Medieval Day

To improve our Humanities learning, students participated in a range of enjoyable activities during Medieval Day. We had the opportunity to participate in five different events throughout the day: archery, crime & punishment, education & games, the tournament, and troubadours.

The tournament was probably my personal favourite. In this workshop, we were able to use the blunted sword to battle a teacher. Crime and Punishment was another activity I enjoyed and found interesting. We learned about various crimes and their punishments, for instance, if you lie frequently, your tongue or ear will be cut off. The day was extremely enjoyable and was a such a fun experience.
