Library Monitor Award

Congratulations to Faustine (Year 8) for the Best Library Monitor for Term 1 award. We thank all our Library Monitors for all the hard work they do in making library displays, shelving, keeping the library tidy and running smoothly.

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

The Challenge is now open until 8th September and Glen Eira College is excited to be participating. Students can check their Year Level Google Classrooms or pop into our library to find out more. IDAHOBIT and Pride Month

We’re celebrating IDAHOBIT and Pride Month with books!  We have a large collection of LGBTQIA+ books for young adults. We’ll be loaning books at the GEC Pride Expo and students can borrow from our library display or ask library staff.

Homework Help

Tuesday & Wednesdays after school in the library (3.30pm - 4.30pm).

Volunteer tutors available for assistance with most subject areas.

The library is open every day after school for students to study except when staff meetings are scheduled.
