Bonjour!

What have we learnt in French this week?

In Preps, we discovered the animals of the story La Poule Maboule. We learnt the question “Qu’est-ce qui se passe?” (What is happening?). Do you know that the horse in French makes a different sound? 

In Grade 1/2, we discovered the animals of the story Le Chat et la Lune: le cheval (the horse), le chat (the cat), le chien (the dog) and le mouton (the sheep).

In Grade 3/4 and 5/6 , we are preparing for the SPEAK UP assessment next week. We are using all our known vocabulary and making sentences to describe an image. For example: tout le monde regarde le tableau blanc et travaille avec l’ordinateur (Everyone looks at the whiteboard and works with the computer).

Each week, we can learn a new French word. The word of the week is: “la maison” (the house).
