HOT CROSS BUN DRIVE

Thank you for supporting the Bakers Delight Hot Cross Bun Drive. 47 packs of buns were ordered and we made a profit of $135.

END OF TERM BBQ

Thank you to Leona D for all your work preparing and distributing the BBQ lunch and for Craig D who cooked up all the sausages on the day. We also want to give a huge shout out to one of our Dad’s (Leo L) who donated all the sausages for the BBQ.

Leo runs Mediterranean Butchers on Commercial Road in Prahran and we are so grateful for his generosity. Please remember when you are shopping in Prahran to pop in and grab your fresh meats from Leo, supporting local business and supporting WPS families!!

CAKE STALL

Hope everyone enjoys a treat or two at our beloved Cake Stall at the end of school today. It is always a highlight and is a lovely way to start the school holidays. Thank you to two of our parents, Lucy B and Megan L, for all your work preparing and running the stall on the day.

MARKET DAY IN MAY – May 12, 2023

We would love our parents and carers to support and encourage their child to register a table at our Market Day in May. They can sell second hand or homemade items at their stall to raise money for Windsor Primary School. It would be great to see some keen bakers selling their baked treats, future gardeners with their potted plants, or budding artists with their art and craft creations.

The event will take place on Friday 12th May from 4:30pm, and will include a BBQ dinner.

ICE CREAM FRIDAY

Thank you to Sarah B and Michelle H for all your work to make sure those ice creams were ready to go every single Friday afternoon. Also, a big thank you to Woolworths Prahran for donating the ice creams each week.

TOASTIES TUESDAY LUNCH ORDERS

Thank you to Denise, Courtney and Mickie for all your work during Term One preparing and cooking toasties every single Tuesday. All parents who order are very grateful and it has been a fantastic fundraiser where profits have purchased a much needed Defibrillator for the school. And again, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without Woolworths Prahran, who have donated all the supplies needed to make the toasties every week.

P&F COMMITTEE MEETING

Our next P&F Meeting will be held on Thursday April 27 at 3pm in the Library. We look forward to seeing you there!

Have you thought of a great fundraising idea that you would like to organise for WPS? We would love to hear from you and are happy to support you in getting it organised!

We would also like to thank Coles Prahran for their generous weekly donation this term. As you may have heard some of the support staff are running some small cooking classes each week which we hope to expand and continue in the future. Michelle and the team at Coles Prahran have happily offered to cover the cost of purchasing the ingredients each week. We are so appreciative of their constant support to WPS.
