During the last rotation the 4/5’s used magnifying cups and insect collecting sheets to learn how to find and collect insects. Students enjoyed the sunshine and a lovely picnic in the park.
GRIP Leadership
On the 28th of March, 13 student leaders were selected to participate in the GRIP Student Leadership Conference at the Melbourne Convention Centre with over 100 schools attending. The day included three practical/ interactive training sessions where the students learnt about how to be an 'others first' leader, how a leader can impact people and how to get everybody on board with a new idea. The day was enjoyed by all with fun activities in between each session where some students were able to go on stage! The students worked through a workbook and which they were able to take them home with them to help them implement leadership skills in the future.
