Welcome back to Term 2. It's hard to believe it's only Week 2. We had a fabulous sports day today! Well done to all children who ran, jumped, threw, and cheered. A big thank you to the volunteers who helped run activities, helped in the canteen, and did various other jobs. It takes a team effort to pull off events like this. A wonderful day had by all!
We had 25 children represent our school at the ANZAC Day march on 25th April. All of the children did us proud as we walked down the mall and up ANAZAC Hill. Thank you to the children and families who participated in the march.
Our learning is in full swing with much enthusiasm. Please keep an eye on the Facebook page and Seesaw for the different events coming up in the next few weeks.
The value we are focusing on for the first three weeks of term is Courage: Be an upstander. If you see something that’s not OK, like someone being mean, you have a choice: support the targeted person or do nothing. If you decide to help, you’ve chosen to be an upstander. There are some great websites and videos out there that explain this concept. Have a look at these links and talk with your children about it.
