Dear families and friends,

Mothers Day 

Firstly let me wish all mothers, women, grandmothers, and mother figures a happy happy day for this Sunday. May the day bring joy, happiness and rest. Thank you to all who were able to attend the breakfast and liturgy this morning, it was a wonderful way to celebrate as a community. We keep all those who experience sadness or grief on and around Mothers day in our prayers and thoughts. 

Thank you to Jacqueline and helpers for once again organising, setting up and running the Mothers Day stall. 

Pizza and walk night - Welcome to Country 5pm 

Next week we are excited to welcome our families back on school site and into our classrooms. We have waited for this time to arrive. For those who have contacted regarding Co-vid safe practices, we will be providing hand sanitiser at each door and we ask everyone to be mindful of safe distance and moving through environments after you have explored. All of our educators will be in the space, however your children are very keen to lead the tour and show you their evidence of learning. 

Prep 2022

This coming week we begin 2 weeks of Prep 2022 interviews, Aoife / Lauren and myself will be meeting many new families and many existing families - we can't wait to hear the many interests, stories and dreams that will be added to our St John stories.

Our Student Representative Leaders are busily organising a fun day at school - we will keep you all posted.

Playground news

We have had lots of feedback from children about areas in our school. This has led to a new cubby (still in motion), new areas to sit and read / play games, Lego club, sports games, colouring and passive play. If you have any new ideas, please email us :) 

Last call for Trivia 

Trivia night for PARENTS - FRIDAY JUNE 4th  this will be held in our Church hall at St John's.  RSVP here by May 15th.
