CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY 2021

Well done to our many classes that participated  in this years Clean up Australia Day Events. 

Room 3 ventured to Greenacres Park and found an array of rubbish,  cleaning up not only the park but the footpath leading to the park. 

Other classes concentrated on cleaning up our School and the perimeter of the school.

Room 2 and 3 mini bin audit

In order to analyze our school waste Room 2 and 3 conducted a mini bin audit. We sorted the bins into categories and found that all of our waste could have been redirected and our landfill bin could be empty. Stay tuned for our results and our solutions....

We have also been looking at ideas from other schools on best practises for recycling and have found some great clips on WOW (Wipe out Waste) website that we will share.
