Garden of Minds and Hearts

This term Room 16 reception/year 1 and Room 17 year 3/4 have been working on rejuvenating the garden beds next to the courts.

 So far we have cleaned up the space by sweeping up leaves and removing rubbish, pulled out the weeds and discovered huge zucchinis that grew during week 5 and 6 which we cut up and cooked in week 7.

 Most recently we have re-soiled and planted new succulents with the help of Ms Sue. 

We have named this area The Garden of Minds and Hearts and have painted little rock creatures called 'Marts' that will soon live in our garden. We are planting peas this week which have been propagated by rooms 2 and 3 and look forward to seeing the space flourish across the remainder of the year.
