Room 7
Learning Goals
Room 7 have been busy setting goals for our learning. We have created a display wall where we write our goals on sticky notes and post it up so we can remind ourselves what our learning goals are for each area of the curriculum.
The reason we have written them on sticky notes is because once we have achieved our goal, we can take it down and replace it with our next one.
Once we have achieved a goal and taken it down, we then stick it into our achievement journal.
Our achievement journal is something we have created so that we can see the progress we are making and have made over the whole year. This journal is not only for our learning goals but also for any other school achievements that we want to celebrate like school value awards etc.
Student Leaders
Congratulations to the six students from rooms 5 & 7 who have been selected to be student leaders this year: Cory, Samy, Elijah, Lida, Panagiotis and Peta .
On Monday the 15th of March, these leaders represented the school at the GRIP student leaders conference held at the Entertainment Centre with hundreds of other students from schools across the state.
The conference focussed specifically on training our students to be responsible and pro-active leaders for our school. It was very beneficial for our leaders, leaving them with a clear vision about what is expected of them and how they can help make a positive impact on our school community.
We look forward to working with our student leaders this year, exciting times ahead!
