Deputy Principal, Wellbeing

Dear Parents,

As we end what has been an extremely busy and productive term, can I thank you for the support you have given to both your child and the school. After almost 12 disrupted months, our students are back fully  immersed in their academic studies and co-curricular programs. They are certainly tired and will be looking forward to a well earned break. We will continue to see the lingering impact of Covid-19 long into the 2021 school year with fatigue and possible anxiety around further lockdowns.

We have been pleased with the way students have worn their uniform this term and the respect they have shown for their school, but it is important we begin Term Two strongly. Students may begin in either their summer or winter uniform but they must be in winter uniform by Monday 3rd May.  We will continue to be very vigilant about ensuring our students wear their uniform correctly and I ask for parental support with this.

Winter Uniform Expectations

Girls:

  • Blazer, winter skirt (must sit mid-calf), navy stockings or long socks, blue shirt and tie and school jumper.
  • Hair that is below shoulder length must be tied back neatly. School ribbon colours are navy, white, maroon or gold.
  • The only jewellery permitted is one pair of earrings, either plain studs or sleepers.
  • No make-up or nail polish is not to be worn to school. Moisturiser and sunscreen should be colourless.

Boys:

  • Hair should be neat, tidy and off the collar before they return to school.
  • Blazer, long grey trousers, blue shirt and tie, black or grey socks and the school jumper.

We have so much to look forward to in Term Two.
