College Athletics Carnival

The College Athletics Carnival which is a whole-school event, is scheduled on Tuesday 2nd May.  This will be held at the Melton Athletics Centre.  Further details can be found on Xuno.  We look forward to seeing students either participating or cheering on their peers in what is set to be a great day.

Volleyball

Last week saw the senior volleyball teams go out to compete against the other schools in the area. Due to a clash with parent teacher interviews and the intermediate volleyball date, our senior teams ended up being filled predominantly by our year 9 and 10 students. As such, this caused a significant disadvantage for our teams, but there was not one moment throughout the day where our students did not hold their heads high and try their very best.

They continually encouraged each other throughout the day and were nothing but respectful to the other teams and referees. It was a true pleasure to supervise these students during the day and watch them represent the College with such pride. Whilst we didn’t get many wins in regards to volleyball that day, we certainly were the overall winners in respect, sportsperson ship, kindness and effort.
