O'Connor Catholic College Year 6 Step Day 

This past Tuesday, our Year 6 students travelled to O'Connor Catholic College in Armidale for the step day program preparing them for high school days. 

The students participated in a variety of learning activities including, a science lesson, which involved experiments like putting a balloon in a vacuum and looking at air pressure on a ping pong ball. Food technology where they made smores in a hospitality class.

They interacted with sheep, cows and chickens in the Ag program.

They looked at laser cutting in the Industrial Technology class where our students all received a key chain to take home with them!

We thank O'Connor for providing St Mary of the Angels with such a positive experience in preparation for High School next year.
