SMC rowers bring their 'A-game'
It was another big weekend for our rowers who powered through the Tasmanian All Schools Championships with steely determination and infectious SMC team spirit.
Well done to all rowers, coxswains and coaches for bringing their 'A-game' to Lake Barrington! We had a fantastic turnout across all age groups, with highlights from the weekend including the U15s winning first place in their event and St Mary's College taking out the Girls' Junior Shield!
What a fantastic season we are having! After months of early wake-ups, gruelling training sessions and weekend regattas, it is terrific to see our students reaping the rewards of their hard work.
We wish our rowers the best of luck for their final regatta of the season, the Head of the River, which takes place this Saturday 18 March at Lake Barrington.
