Vinnies

The McCarthy Catholic College community recently enjoyed two successful events, the Swimming Carnival Barbecue and Shrove Tuesday, organised by the Vinnies. These events provided opportunities for students, staff, and parents to come together and enjoy some fun and delicious food.

The Swimming Carnival Barbecue, held on a warm and sunny day, was a great success. Vinnies, working with McCarthy’s Environmental Council, members worked hard to set up and run the event, ensuring that all attendees had a great time. 

Shrove Tuesday, also organised by Vinnies, was another successful event that brought the community together. The traditional pancake day was a hit, with students and parents enjoying the delicious pancakes with maple syrup or jam. We like to thank everyone who brought pancakes in on the day, it was greatly appreciated. 

We look forward to more events like these in the future, and to continuing our efforts to create a more connected community at McCarthy Catholic College.
