Congratulations: Language Perfect World Championships 2018
From Monday 21st May to Thursday 31st May, students from Years 7 -12 participated in Education Perfect’s “Language Perfect World Championships”. This online event was global and required students to demonstrate their language skills and time management skills. Students participated in translation exercises and listening comprehension tasks.
Congratulations to the students who contributed to these amazing individual and college results in the 2018 Education Perfect Languages World Championship. Each point earned contributed to our college’s achievements.
Collectively the college was ranked:
* 29th overall globally out of 1,476 schools
* 12th overall in German out of 1,013 schools
* 39th overall for Japanese out of 1,121 schools
* 21st overall in Australia out of 1,038 schools
* 12th for German in Australia out of 720 schools
* 32nd for Japanese in Australia out of 824 schools
* 5th overall in Victoria out of 266 schools

A special mention to Poorvansh Shukla who finished the championship in 24th place. This is an exceptional achievement as 189,367 students participated in this global event. Poorvansh was the highest placed Viewbank Student.
