The Alpine School

Year 9 students for 2017:
The School for Student Leadership. A Place for Liberty, Light and Learning
As your child enters Year 9 in 2017, they have a wonderful opportunity to be involved the unique School for student leadership, which is an initiative offering a unique residential education experience in Term 1 from the 5th February – until the 1st of April. The Campus is located in Glenormiston near Colac in Victoria’s Western district. The curriculum focuses on the personal development and team learning projects sourced from the student’s home regions. Your child will meet fellow students from a wide range of fellow yr. 9 state secondary schools both male and female. Past students from St Albans have developed into impressive young leaders and have developed socially, emotionally and physically from the experience. There is an approximate cost of $1000 dollars for the camp and they will be on camp for the majority of term 1 if they are selected. We are hoping to reduce some costs through fundraising. Your child’s report for Semester 1, 2017 will only encompass Term 2 results which is endorsed by the school.
