Last week was a snapshot of why St Philomena’s School is a school of choice for the Moree community. Good news stories about learning, performance, faith, achievement and community were everywhere. Our newsletter features these.

In their faith journey, following a time of preparation, many of our Year 3 students received the sacrament of Reconciliation. As a Catholic community, we celebrate with these young people and their families in this important event. In 2018, these children will receive the sacrament of the Eucharist.

St Philomena’s School has a strong sense of community which has shone extra brightly over the last couple of weeks. The work of the Parents and Friends Association and the parent and staff community to bring our 2017 Spring Fair to fruition has been exceptional.

Students who engage in learning and aspire to succeed, combined with a most capable and dedicated team of staff across all roles in our school, and a supportive and encouraging parent community, are standout features of our great school.

Thanks to everyone.
