VALE - Dr Jim Wood

Jim Wood, a well respected & dedicated Fairhills High School teacher (from 1988 to 2010) sadly passed away during the July school holidays.  Jim lived a fascinating life including involvement with the diplomatic & intelligence services, the Army Reserve, politics, high school teaching, book writing, travel & completing a PhD.    

Jim retired from Fairhills as Head of English, he was coordinator of  Bright Sparks & promoted Gifted Education in the Knox District.
